No problem guys. It's not the shiniest most expensive solution but it's simple and effective and that's how I roll!!!

No Response to my email

Does anyone know a way to get in touch with Mr. Wike besides email?
He was kind enough to let me trade in on a newer version of the IBEF, but when I got it, it
didn't work.

I emailed him four days ago but there's been no response yet

I run 2 on my 210TSCS....one per ignition module
Yes - it will handle the two ignitions but look at it from a redundancy point of veiw.....saftey
Run two cause if you lose one ignition or IBEC the other can still power the plane, and besides whats another $60 when you have $8000 or so in a plane already.

Regards-

They are able to run one ignition without the use of a heat sink. Two is pushing it! As rooman said it is not worth the risk. Use two.

Ok, question regarding the IBEF. I've connected the Anderson pole jump lead to my ignition from my DA....the connector on the IBEF has a red, orange and brown wire that links up to the ignition connector from the DA - the ignition only has red/black therefore what is the purpose of the yellow wire from the IBEF....is it needed or not? Thanks?

Not needed. You'd need to ask TBM or the guy that built them why he even bothered with the signal wire? I was able to get ahold of him about a year back but lost his number. I just removed mine from the housing, folded it back and wrapped a small piece of hockey tape on it to hold it down. I doubt its connected to anything in the IBEC.

Thanks for that, I emailed TBM but they said they didn't know either. I figured it's the same as taping back the signal wire when using an external BEC instead of the BEC built in from an ESC. Besides there is nothing for the signal to connect to anyway.

Thanks!
