Just played with the scale a little before closing shop tonight.....
Just for the record.... upon finishing these......... Each tip light set weighs 1-5/8oz 3-1/4 oz. for the both..... Not too shabby.... very happy with the weight and light output... I have the inboard battery 3s LiFe 9.9v, and the light bars right on the C/G line.... I'm guessing this is how they do the Andromeda kits as well.... It will be nice to not have to worry about c/g when I put the light sets on for the evening flying....... I threw in a flight battery and double checked my C/G, and I'm still spot on where I was before adding the lights..... WooooHooooo!!!!! I can actually say that this has been a real fun relaxing project!!! |

OMG>.... trying to upload night flying videos of the 71" Slick
with the walmart sourced LED wingtip lights, and this is what I'm dealing with for internet.......  Terrible speed today.... $46.00/mo for this???? (yeah, pretty bad) |
