Those are actually great flying planes, I've got a buddy that kit built one and it flies like a dream. They aern't as small as you think.....they are designed for 2 people side by side. It's very cool to see Sonex take on this kind of project. Well Done!!!!

Now thats awsome! I dont know how I would feel though sitting on top of a couple really huge lipos while several hundred, or thousand feet in the air... whether or not the battery boxes were burn and explosion proof!!!!!

I have to say im a little afraid of that plane....looks like a R/C plane converted to Experimental, as stated above in the thread, what happens when they fry the ESC - LOL - neat concept, but not practical - who makes the engine though ? i have some ideas for a 50% i have LOL
