Yes Darin I did get in touch with him and everything is good and he will receive his points. If you see him let him know that it is always great to fly with him. And that I look up to him, not only while I am standing next to him, but because he fly's his model airplane so well and is fun to talk and listen to.

I crashed my PAU edge 540 35%
I tried a snapasourus but I did not slow down before hitting the up elevator. So the elevator did nothing. The plane just rolled to inverted and landed on its canopy side but in semi soft bushes.
Got very lucky. The canopy cracked. The rudder cracked but just a bit.
The prop broke.
The tail broke off clean right near the tail feathers. I plan on replacing the fuse because everything else is fine.
It was just like when I crashed my carden but not as bad.
I am a good crasher. You need a plane crashed see me.
Cost me about 600 dollars. But the plane will be like new again.
No damage to wings, stabs or elevators whatsoever. Very fortunate. It would be very easy to fix. I just want it to be new again so I can crash it again. That is my new hobby.
See you all at Ziallah. That will be on our way home we hope.

So you will be getting it together before Zillah for Cheri to fly?
I look forward to seeing you two again.

Thought I would share some photos of some public relations and aerobatic team flying that Tim Hanstine (SupaTimHanstine), with two other pilots, Victor Chattelier and Jordan Conner, did on July 3 at the Tacoma Narrows Airport. It was the 6th annual Gig Harbor Wings & Wheels event that is held now each year, either the day after, or, in this case, the day before the July 4 Tacoma Freedom Fair & Air Show over the water along Ruston Way in Tacoma.

Most of the full scale planes that perform in the Freedom Fair on the 4th take off and land at the Tacoma Narrows Airport. So, the planes can be seen up close, on the ground, at the airport on the off day. There were probably close to 100 cars and trucks, and other custom and unique vehicles also on display.

I believe this is the 3rd or 4th year that Tim and his team have been invited to perform. Not sure if Jordan has performed with Tim in previous years, but Victor has. Let us know if I am right or wrong on that, Tim.

Anyway, they put on a great show and got some oohs and ayahs from the crowd, along with a big applause at the end. They flew twice and started off the flying event.

It was also interesting that Jim Bourke, owner of Knife Edge Software, was there with his full scale orange, blue, and white Extra 330 LX. He is also the owner if RCGroups.com. I'll include some photos of his plane.

Those are some great photos Warren. Thank you for sharing. And thanks to Tim and crew for promoting RC airplanes.
It would be great to see you all at a contest again.

Mike, you're welcome. I was impressed with what Tim, Victor, and Jordan did at this event. It was obvious that they had a routine, and they put on smoke to effect. They could use some IMAC practice, I'm sure. Just a little more finesse, staying closer together, and making their moves together, and they would be really impressive.

Kathleen and I just got back from a month long travel loop here in the western states again. However, we hit some new locations in CA, NE, UT, ID, and WA in this round trip - Tioga Pass, Mammoth Lakes, Zion, Cedar Breaks, Sun Valley, and Camas Prairie where the Nez Perce Wars got started.

Not sure when Tim will try IMAC again, but I signed up for Zillah. Hopefully I will see you all there.

This is all great news! I look forward to seeing you Russ, Rob, and Warren. It is not about the practice it is about the friendship. See everybody there.

I am getting all the details together for the Zillah event this weekend. SATURDAY evening we are planning a potluck - bring your own main dish and a side dish to share.

If you haven't signed up please do so. I now have a new way of creating a judging matrix - those who don't sign up ahead of time are lucky enough to fill in all the places needed to fill the gaps

See you in Zillah

Like for judging the Unknowns for all rounds except your own? Those gaps are always hard to fill.
