Well im getting my DX18 from my local hobby shop. 10% military discount, and they'll order it from horizon and have it to me in two days. Im excited. Do you get a case for the tx too? If not which case are you guys using? Thanks

No case if you don't get the QQ version.....any tx case works fine

I ordered my DX18 today from Chief Aircraft. They had a better deal than what my local hobby store. Can't wait to get it and begin learning the tx!

actually due to its taller design (fixed ant) I preferred the stand up case from Horizon.

I guess I shoulda said.....mine fits fine, with room to spare in the same tx case I used for my 9303.....

That's the one I ordered

I have both a Dx18 and DX7s. I was able to put both the dx18 and the dx7s into the stand up case....its pretty sweet.

It probably doesn't have the latest firmware installed. The first thing you should do is go to https://community.spektrumrc.com register your transmitter and update to the latest code.

Every time I try to register my radio , I get a screen that says the site is having technical difficulty . Anyone else getting that message ?

I just tried also. I was able to create a login but unable to get to the register screen. Clicking on the Register link sent me to a screen saying there experiencing technical difficulties.... Im going to try and call tomorrow

DB1331, I went to the actual spectrum website and logged in there and was able to get to the Register page where you fill in all your info and tx info.
