That looks awesome, now you say it takes about an hour per wing to cut out but how did it take you to do the setup with all of the strips. All I can say really is SWEET and you are a very very patient man. Rock On.

It does take a while to make the template but it's not difficult. It's just a bunch of 1/4" stripes of 1/64" plywood Zapped together. Also it just a one time project good for a number of wings. I have cut 3 sets now and they are still good as new.

We all embarass our kids.........remember before we became parents, i bet we all said "im gonna be a cool parent and my kids will like hangin with me" LOL we turned into our own parents instead. It quickly becomes evident, that being the cool parent doesnt always work.

Henry your winga look crazy !! They are gonne be wiked light. I got mine all covered now. Only thing left is paint. I should have it flying in about 2-3 weeks. If its ok with you maybe ill post some pics on here later. My wings came out at 51oz and 50oz right and left all done including servos. I only cored the outer half of the wing to reduce the rotating mass. I figured the outer ends would have the most leverage. I cored them for performance more than weight. I was nervous as it was my first time coring wings. But it turned out good. I think next time i might make a template and do the whole wing to try and do a "Light" build like yourself. Keep up the good work. Oh and you never answered me before when can i send you my kit and when might i exspect it to be done lol ???
