I posted this over on the Pro-Bros as well..
Well, I've been doing some finish sanding of the fuse & control surfaces, drilling the hard points, installing the last aileron servo support and rounding some edges. We're getting dangerously close to doing some covering. Can you tell I'm ready to see this thing in the air??

Nice Phil. With your expert builder's help, you will have one of the best built WWRC 50cc's in existence. I can't wait to hear your flight report.

Oops, I forgot. We've got a little sheeting left also. It's already made up and ready to glue on. The top root area sheeting on the right wing is (obviously) yet to be done. as is the sheeting on the bottoms of both wings. Question.....
What is the best way to handle the issue of the wing bolt hatch(es) ? I also asked this question on Pro-Bro, and am wondering how others did this? One hatch, Two? Hmm...........

Thank you. I can honestly say I don't think I would have ever finished this thing without his help.

I was fortunate to get a few minutes of his time at Nall last year. I have a 35% Carden Edge kit that I would love to get his help on - maybe someday if I hit the lottery

Yep, Brian Deis is in high demand. He's several years backed up I understand...

I used two hatches on top of the left wing. Most people put them on the bottom for looks, but I like them on the top for convenience. Don't have to crawl under the plane or flip it over to get the wings on. I used nylon 1/4-20 bolts glued into the right wing panel and wing nuts to hold everything together. Just don't glue them in with CA! They WILL break. Been there, done that, lost a wing on maiden!
My hatches are held on with hex head servo screws, but hatch latches or magnets would make a much nicer setup. Then you would have a no-tools assembly.

I have to order one of these I had a 30cc one almost built but I sold it I think I will try to build this one next winter
