Not sure how much help that would be, Jay. Banks goes into greater detail about it that I did. But if it gives you the idea on how to do them, then it was a help!

I'm planning on coming back out this year. I'm also hoping that I still have a job around that time as well.

There is going to be a fly-in at the Concord (NH) Skyhawks field (aka sod farm) this coming Sunday. All are welcome.
"For those of you who are willing to brave the frigid temperatures of our New England winter and come out of hibernation. We are planning a Club “Fly for Fun” event on Sunday the 19th at 11:00am until??/ This is of course weather permitting and field/ice conditions. Look for more details on Saturday for the location. We are hoping to host it at the Club Field."

No problem Jay. If precision flying is something you are interested in getting into, or would like to learn more about. We can set something up this spring (Ill be in California through June... but Ill be back random weekends here and there). I used to run/host IMAC "primers" for guys looking to get into it because we found (and I experienced this myself when I started) that if you dont have someone local flying IMAC/Precision, there is no good way to interpret what you really need to be doing, and how to do it. Not to mention how to read ARESTI and such. Its really not difficult to get started... but help in the beginning definitely makes a huge difference. That said, that offer goes for anyone. We could also set up a weekend and get togethor at a field and I can go through the basics with some ground school to flying if guys were interested. I would just have to schedule it on a weekend I would be in the area. I recommend anyone to try and IMAC contest at least once. There is NO more difficult type of flying to do that precision. Hands down. There isnt a 3D maneuver I can't fly... but I know that I will NEVER fly a perfect "10" sequence... nor ever even come close... and its the challenge of it that keeps it interesting to me. Not to mention, just the basics of precision flying will make you a far better pilot and tend to smoothen out the stick banging as everything looks linked togethor and with a purpose.

Hey Guys, Just an FYI. The East Coast Swamp Flyers ( there really isn't any swamp near by) is having it's first BASIC only IMAC contest on Saturday April 28th if you would like to come give it a try. The details are on the IMAC website. I believe the field is closer than Rocky hill.

I didnt see this Jim... shows you how out of the loop I am these days! Perhaps even a primer beforehand might boost attendance?
