So, I see an ad for a DLE111 in the swapshop. He mentions having "Bowman rings since new". I Google Bowman rings and find a guy who makes custom rings for hundreds of engines. There is no explanation of what makes them better, only an assertion that they are better. Are stock rings a problem? Is there an advantage I am unaware of? I am aware of upgrade automotive engine rings designed to deal with conditions found in a modified perormance engine. If the stock rings offer compression within specs, and normal wear resistance, what can you gain?
I am not trying to sabbotage a sale, and I'm not calling anyone a liar. I am asking a tech question inspired by a statement I saw in an ad. I am not implying a reduced value or reliability of an item for sale. I wish the seller and buyer good fortune in this glorious example of unrestricted capitalism, a foundation of our republic.

Ok, here it is. As you can see, it has the club logo on the front left breast, and on the back, much larger, above the depiction of a transmitter. I have been told it is a Futaba 9C. I am aware it is FM. If confronted with this, the response is that it is a tribute to history. I skipped any refrence to dates or events. I selected a darker green than last year, to keep it from feeling like too much of a rerun. The brand of shirt is Gildan, same as last year. The cost; $10 for S-XL. $12 for XXL
If you would like one, post on the thread or send me a pm with how many and what size you want. I will be taking orders for about a week. It will take a couple weeks for them to be made. Delivery will be in person, dependant on my trips to the track, Lee, or Scotts house. I'd like to avoid shipping them.

Keep in mind, this is not a fund raiser, I'm selling for cost. Dont feel pressured to buy.

Also, since I am ordering only what we need to fill the order, we can get whatever we want. If any of the lovely ladies near the club want ladies cut t shirts, or ladies tank tops, in any color, ie pink. I can get those too. If you want sweatshirts, long sleeve, hoodies, those are available too. The ink color, however, is white, and cannot be changed. I will sell whatever at cost. Just tell me what you would like. ( they, however, will not print on clothes not purchased from them ) Let me know. I am glad to help. Thanks!
