What about the metal space?
1, yes
2, 6mm diameter. add Fender washer+firewall+blazing star mount+engine backplate thickness and add 8mm to get length you need
3, but rotate the whole thing as an entire entity. dont flip the aluminum pulse router or it will only run on choke for a small period of time.
4, the blazing star mount goes on one way, flat part up i think. i will post pics asap

i made a throttle pushrood out of some scrap wood to test the length. that was the hard part.

then replaced it for cf jacketed 4:40 all thread.

i decided to use a bellcrank on choke.

i built mine in november 2010 when the da-60 was finally released (sn 0007 Booya!). had the airframe in august LOL it was a grueling wait..

and as far as rotating the carb, do it. you can tell i took the entire carb off with reed block as seen in one of the first pics. dont rotate anything else.

good luck

Thank you very much for taking the time to reply with pics. I flipped the carb around making sure to keep the ports lined up. So that should be ok. If not I need to go back and look at pics to see how it fits. Plus it would mean I'm a goofball for not doing a simple cab rotate lol.

Even more extreme edge. I picked up this one-flight old Edge that was set up for Electric and the guy that built it was scared of it. I've had three of these now, so this one I'm customizing a bit.

- 70cc twin on the nose
- split cowl
- custom wings with 250 more squares
- carbon reinforcements in wings
- slightly increased tip and root chord and new 90" wingspan.
- Stripping tail feathers for new scheme on wings and stabs
- Tinted canopy.

Quite a bit done today....will wrap these up during the week and work on covering next weekend.

Cowl split for the 70, wings are sheeted and in the vacuum. I need to decide on a scheme for the wings and stabs soon!

Almost done, few more mods.......should be fun, or at least interesting. I don't think you can improve on this airplane much to be honest (as mentioned this is my third one)......Just having a little fun experimenting

Maybe start covering tomorrow
