A beautiful aircraft Patric. Have you ever considered coming to America for the Joe Nall Week?

It is May 10-May 17, 2013 next year. Would love to see you and your aircraft there.

For sure I would love to fly my airplane in the US....but the costs for such a trip including flight tickets for me and my airplane are much higher then my hobby budget

There has been no news in this thread for a long time....so I'll wake it up.

My Prometheus is still alive and the carbon tube Fuselage is still doing fine after about 300 flights.
Also the DLE222 4 Cylinder is doing a very fine job, so far the best engine I've ever had.

2014 will be the fifth season for me with this airplane and it seems that it's still not finished. Like the full scale Prometheus my one received new wings last year to improve flight characteristics and reduce the weight under the magic 25kg limit (very important in Germany). I also created a new lightweight cowling for the same reason.

Also like the full scale one there are new elevators on the way, mine are already finished and testflown once and are only waiting for the design scheme from Skip...until I've got this I'll fly the old ones.

Maybe I'll also add a Pilot Figure this year....a modification that was planed since the first flight but never done, so we'll see if it happens or not
