You have to see it in person, its certainly the best scale looking Sukhoi I have seen.

This was a Russian made kit. Quite heavy, made of fiberglass with rivets and walk pads on the plane etc. Even had a scale instrument panel in Russian. Not sure what happened but we think the aileron hatch covers came apart in flight resulting in no aileron control. Plane rolled onto the canopy and into the ground.


I really like the PAU version, but it needs to be bigger for me. I only have one 50cc engine and its in a P-47. I have several 100cc engines though and would probably get a 170 if they came out with it.

Sweetpea, you're a man after my own heart.... I saw a huge sukhoi that Tom from wildhare was going to bring to market, but the manufacturer disappeared. I'd love to have a composite version of the SU-26 or 31 that a 150-170 would fit in....

I think there is still 1 version of this plane in Blue left from a friend in Vegas. I would not reccomend it though. It had alot of shortfalls in the construction.

I had the 35% WH Su-26 but wasn't entirely thrilled with it so I let it go when I moved.

I'll be chatting with Ken on this 50cc bird though as it appears to be a "must have" plane even if I don't have a motor for it.

I'm slowly nibbling away at the list of things that are left to do on my Sukhoi. This evening I mounted my three switches (two for each recevier battery and one for the ignition battery). I also mounted the LED for my ignition kill in front of the ignition switch. The switches went in very quickly, there is plenty of room inside the fuse to get your hands in there to hold stuff

I also installed the elevator servos, after widening the slot slightly to make them slide in a little easier. I then set up the pushrods and installed the elevators on the airplane. I probably wont be taking them off, but if I had to they would come off real easy.
