Re: Zero of Eight???

I once tried a zero of 4, and the crash was so violent I was out of the hobby for two years. I shudder at the thought of a cross-box inverted zero of 8.

I usually do that maneuver with one wing extremely heavier than the other and turn. I called it the 0-8 nascar pattern.

Re: Zero of Eight???

Now everytime I hear 0 of 8, I cringe in fear and run like a yelping dog.

So it as seems as though many have tried and many have failed yet "Let us therefore brace ourselves to our duties and so bear ourselves that, if the Aerobatics Empire and its Commonwealth last for a thousand years, men will still say, 'This was their finest hour."

LMAO!!!

Re: Zero of Eight???

I think only one person did a half ass attempt of this maneuver in past years XFC. He only did a 3 of 8 until the Carden Extra almost ate the dirt. From then on everyone has been to scared so they go the easy route and nail the 0 of 8

Re: Zero of Eight???

I read once that the best place to fly the 0 of 8 was over the bermuda triangle with the tx antenna down!! (2.4 users must turn the tx upside down while leaning backwards) this sounds like something good ol wesse would try! I got a job interview tomorrow and am nervous as he!! but this thread just made my day!
