the turn out was very small for this comp and it was just so bloody hot the last thing we thought about was pictures.
The scores will be up on the ASAA site real soon, i think we were the first to use the new system, which by the way seemed to work just fine.
We held a small judging evening the night before the comp which was well attended with lots of positive stuff being talked. So all looks just Tickety boo up here and just waiting for you all to come to our KATHERINE KRACKER IMAC Event end of June, in the light of recent comment on here, I don't care cos Richo is the CD LOL

Ps after attending an event of sorts with some 200 pilots as a spectator and seeing the quality of flying most id deem as unsafe i cant say id blame this bloke for pullin the pin but as stu said its the cds call to impose any restrictions he and the nominated saftey officer deem fit over and above the guide lines set by casa and the maaa provided all thi minimum requirements are met. Also usually at any big meet including imac and scale there is usually at least 1 or 2 accrediated instructers that i am sure would b only too happy to help some one out with attaining there gold wings if asked as i said it aint that hard its just a fact of life

I was always led to believe that you can not/should not do your Gold Wings or get an MOP cert. AT THE EVENT. You should have these in place at your arrival.

Also, most rallies I've attended were held to raise funds for the hosting club and as such need to be advertised to get the biggest crowd you can. If you can't advertise (make it public) there is no point in holding these events. How is a club supposed showcase themselves and the hobby in general to bring in new blood and grow the club/hobby/sport?

As imac usually have an in house so to speak practise day in which mops and wings can b sorted i guess its only scale or rallys that r up the creek. Problem sorted
