Looking good! I have the same plane, (assuming that's the 100cc). In fact, I have two of them.

Don't be too afraid of the letters. Trace the old ones onto fresh covering and tack them in place. Go slow and poke any significant bubbles with a pin and force the air out of the tiny hole.

Thanks. The photo hides alot of flaws. It is the 100cc. I like the plane, but I mistreated it an it isn't as pretty as it once was. Mo money, mo problems.

trailer question

Hi Guys,
Just wondering if any one has tried to mount giants on the wall of a trailer like this pic. It would save a boatload of space in the trailer but I'm wondering if the stress would be too much.

thanks for the help,
Al

Couple guys at Jn had them like that. I would just make sure the gear is touching the wall and the front post is in a sturdy spot on the front of the fuse. Stap it down tight too, because any movement would scratch the finish.

On the underside of the left wing, oil had loosened the adhesive, and the letters "L and E" peeled off. I made a crayon rubbing from the top of the wing, and then cut out new letters from the template. They ironed on super easy. The old glue was very hard to remove. I tried alcohol, enamel thinner, and ended up using acetone. Even that worked poorly. It turned out fine though, as can be seen in the before and after pics.
I have enough covering, I may remove the covering on the left side of the fuse and try again. I'm sure I can do bettet.

My wife and I looked for almost two years before we bought ours. We ended up buying the one we looked at first two years earlier. Take your time, it's a big investment. You'll know the one. I knew this house was the one we were going to buy when we first looked at it , but still continued to looked. What can I say, I like red LOL !
