Re: jr 9503 throttle mixes
i think i tried this with my 9303. i mixed throttle to a switch. i didn't keep it though. if the motor is tuned correctly you shouldn't need it. or just hit up 2 click on throttle trim for flying and hit 2 down for landing. tried that to.

Re: jr 9503 throttle mixes
I set up the gear for the high idle. For position 1, its normal, then for a higher idle, flip the switch to position 0 and it increases. The pictures should help the way I did it. Don't know if it's really correct, but it works!

Re: jr 9503 throttle mixes
Tankd's pics show the correct THRO CURV setup if you want one throttle cure with a high idle, except that I set Point-3 on both curves to about 25% and EXP to ON. On the gas engine the first part of the throttle opening will result in a much greater RPM change than the last part. The throttle curve should map the throttle stick position closer to the actual RPM/Thrust that results. Record your maximum RPM and set the Point-3 percentage so that you get about half the maximum RPM at the mid stick position.

Re: jr 9503 throttle mixes
Thanks for the info, I'm trying it on Thursday. By the way, not to rub it in, but is it too cold to fly in Texas? Socal is in the 70's and the air is calm.
