Some basics: have the step behind the CG depending on total weight and size, balance the CG with floats installed at 25% of the cord for the maiden----you can move the weight around based on the performance, have a positive 1 1/2-3 degree of the incidence of the wing to the top of the float, make sure that the front of the float extends past the arc of the prop----depending on the size of the plane at least an inch or two, make sure that all areas of possible water exposure has been water proofed. thats why i asked, its a 50 size stick, it has a old supre tiger 46.

That L-4 is awesome!
Now Jackie Chan on the water? Oh my. I gotta get the floats back on my Sr Kadet and do a visit with the camera some weekend.......

Rob, did you get a pic of your 40%er under the 60%? That would've been a cool pic!

No-----my 40%er shook every time it looked at that monster L-4. It was afraid it was going to eaten up-----wouldn't go near it!!!!!!

lol.....no flaps on this plane. But where im doing the maiden I could land anywhere and be on water.
