want Great Planes giant big stick

I have flown RC helicopters for about 4 years now. I fly mild 3d and I can control in all orientations and directions. I have a mini t28 that I fly. I also have a spitfire by park zone that I have a few flights on. I need landing practice. I have owned Gasser helis as well. Do you think I'm ready for this plane.
Thanks

You should be fine, the GP Big Stick flies and lands like a trainer, very floaty, yet has some aerobatic abilities also.H9 makes an Ultra Stick which is more aerobatic due to no dihedral and larger control surfaces, but I think it is only available in a .40 size.Might also look at the AMR line of sticks, they go up to around 20' wingspan.

Awesome thanks for the help. I sim a lot too in phoenix I have been working on landings with a stick look alike. Its a lot easier than spit fire. What engine do u think for stick. I love the Amer but I have never build a kit.

Your good to go. Everyone fly's my giant big stick. Mine is super overpowered with a 55cc twin and can hover etc.I let beginners fly it all the time. Set it up with flaps for even more fun.

Yeah they are not greatest for gas planes. I've had a few crack and break off, your best bet replace them with Robarts http://secure.hobbyzone.com/catalog/...rt/ROB307.html

Ive had 2 of the texas airplanes sticks. They both flew great. They both shed the horrible covering in flight. They both met a young death 1 from ca hinges the other from a bad rx battery..The great planes stick is a much better plane. The covering isnt great but at least it stays on in flight. A g38 up to a 55cc twin is a good engine choice.( mine has the 55 twin) Servos anything from the hitec 645 to any flavor digital you like. I have had good luck with xq servos from Redwing RC. But have recently been using Savox.
