Fromeco Kodiak Problem

I've got a Fromeco Kodiak switch in a Pilot RC 30% Yak 54.

although it is functioning fine, the switch isn't showing the amps......it's turning on, the light turns on...but amps don't come up..

I tried resetting it a few times. Solder joints also seem okay. I've tried it with different batteries but no luck.

The switch's male Deans goes into the battery's female Deans.......The switch's female goes into a male Dean's plug which is connected to the Rx on the other end...

I don't mind it not showing amps...as long as the switch doesn't fail in flight

Are you creating a load on the system? If there is no load there will be no amps.

Contact Mike or Curt over at Fromeco...they might be able to repair it, or perhaps its time to retire that unit.

If the display itself is bad, I might be able to continue using the unit itself?

Too bad Fromeco stopped making this switch.

All components will come to an end eventually. I would replace it if I were you

You know it shows the amp used right? Maybe leave it on for a while and wiggle the sticks a bit, maybe a half hour?

I tried that. No luck.

I think the switch itself is fine. I'll stick with it for now.
