IMAC Lite For Apple Devices
IMAC Lite for all apple devices is now available in the App store and has been updated a ton since the last thread back in December.
For those that have not seen it yet: Just go to the app store and search for IMAC Lite or click this link http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/imac-...411353674?mt=8 IMAC HD for iPad only also is available though not as complete as IMAC Lite Both are free I am also developing a wireless scoring system that works with the next release of Dave Smith's excellent Score program which should be completed in the next month or so and will be tested at various locations in the NE region as well as the upper SE region I also have a forum at the IMAC site for anything regarding the App's http://www.mini-iac.com/Forums/tabid...7/Default.aspx |

Feel free to make suggestions, you can either leave them here, preferably the IMAC site in the IMAC Lite forum or better still, click the little info button in the upper right of the main screen in the app and hit the contact button at the bottom and it will open Apple email and fill in the to: field |

Great app! I couldn't find a call sheet before I went to the field the other day. I remembered I had this app, so I knew I was covered!
I do have one suggestion... In caller mode, on the last maneuver of a sequence, it would be nice to have the option of going directly back to the beginning of the sequence (maneuver 1). As it is now, you either have to scroll back through the entire sequence or go all the way out to the "caller mode" menu. Gary H. |

I have release 2 sitting in the Apple review queue right now that does have the ability to end caller mode and it will pop up a message asking to confirm that you actually want to end caller mode and you can do it from ANY maneuver in ANY known sequence For version 2.1 how about if I add the ability to the pop up message and also change the buttons wording a tad, that allows you to chose another maneuver in the current sequence only as well as ending caller mode plus keep the "No" choice just in case you hit end caller mode by mistake |

Saw your map question, here is what I posted on the IMAC site regarding that Now for the map question, I am actually working on that as we speak, I am going a bit further and having it automatically give you directions based on what contest you tap versus the devices current location. Adding contest info can be done but it may be easier to add a link to the contest info on the IMAC site so when you tap the location, it gives you directions from your current location as well as pulling up the the info in a separate view Sound good? This is how the app gets better and better, all good suggestion and not that hard to do. I have pretty much done every single suggestion, except for voice commands, and that is only because of Apple not releasing what I need to properly implement that |

Bill, this is a great app!! Now, when a newbie asks what the sequences look like, I can whip out my IPhone and show him exactly!!
Keep up the great work on this app - it can only get better with time'1 Bobby P.S. Yes, directions to a contest from where you are currently located to the field in question is a nice opton. |

You should see it on the iPad. There is a HD version out strictly for the iPad that has really good graphics but the IMAC Lite version runs on both the iPhone/iPod touch as well as the iPad and iPad support in Lite is completely separate and Lite will look at what you are installing it on and act accordingly |

Can you add the name of the maneuver to each one? That would make a rookies life like myself much easier.

There is a release waiting for approval(version 2.0 which has a lot of changes) and I 'll shoot for release 2.1 |

I was thinking of something similar to the map app that comes on the iphone where if you search for say a restaurant, it gives you a pin showing it's location that is a live link. If you select on it, it will take you to an "info" page still in the map app that will provide basic information for that pinned location. |

They also have examples for maps, web browsers and a few other things. I have an older, non-upgraded Touch available to me to test this with and it worked fine for email. However the search for the Map is much more involved, getting it to open and return you to the Lite app is the easy part Having it get your current location, and set directions, do searches yada yada yada is a lot harder to do. Currently, I am using the free Yellow Pages app that does everything I want to do inside the Lite App and I have found out how they are doing it |

Of course, ideas are always welcomed on what might be the best way to present anything that will be of benefit to the most people and still make the app something very useful |
