TOP FLITE P47 WILL IT FLY?

(Changed to FW 190)

Hello all,
I attended a Flea market a few days back, and along with Tires for my 1/4 scale tiger moth, and the NIB 50cc Revolver, I got an OS FT-300 for an unbelievable price. I have since torn the engine completely apart, cleaned it, and oiled it. Now it is back together and looks great, when I get a prop I will run the beast. I will say, that the most difficult thing with this engine is finding an air frame (
Already have a 1/5 cub, don't want another) So, I think that a Topflite Fw 190 might be a good candidate. The Ft 300 is a 50cc 4 stroke nitro. swings a 22in prop at 6500rpm, and is 9.5 in in width (valve cover to valve cover) my questions are...

1. will this beast fit?

2. I want scale flying (circuts, speed runs and possibly a victory roll) , will it fly okay with this power plant?

1. You might have valve covers sticking out a little. I think Cowl is about 9 inch wide about where cylinders would end up. I can get better measurement later.

2. Arf is probably 22-23 lbs (depending on the engine). Kit would end up more like 25-27 lbs with same engine.
If you can swing 22x10 or 22x8 at 6500 rpm, that is easily enough for more than scale flying with ARF. Probably same with kit. I had 26 lbs kit with G62, 22x10 prop at over 7000 rpm. It was plenty of power. Icould fly it half throttle no problem.

I was looking at the arf, too many kits right now. I figured it would be fine since the original flew on a U.S. 41

actually, I might try the FW 190, The cowl is larger, so the engine will fit better. Same question will it be fine?

( I am not used to converting gas to glow)

I can only assume it should be. About same weight. About same shape/aerodynamics.
