Most people don't complain or express consern to the manufacturer...so nothing will prolly ever be done about it. I didn't like it and voiced my experience... Bob R. is a good guy . He is not denying this issue exists ...he doesn't know why and gave me my money back. He is very supportive in customer relations and will make sure you are happy too. I will still purchase his products but just not the EQs.
If enough people expressed concern about this issue I'm sure Bob would find a solution. But like I said most people just go with the flow excepting what there dealt.. or just move on.
If he'd handled this like Hitec I'd have been driven to resolve the issue .
I'm happy to say Bob and I are in very good standing.
The reason I ask is I lost my new Carden 124 Pro two weeks ago, will never know what happened as it crashed into a lake and the PE (EQ-6) and RX were not found.

Sorry to hear man, I haven't heard of any reports that the EQ10 or 6 is causing planes to crash. My self and others don't notice any funny stuff in flight with the issue I have described ether .

What receiver was it?

Some one asked why use Tin/Copper Solder.
The reason is that Tin/lead Solder causes a depletion of the Copper wire inside the joint.
Tin/Copper Solder doesn't so you get a better lasting join with less resistance over time.
SMACKA I left this Forum because it turned into a Savox Forum. That Drunk should sober up. lol

I don't want to be the new guy challanging the common wisdom, but, regarding jitters, the videos I've seen don't convince me it is a servo problem.
...

Does anybody have this trouble in a fully electric bird without using signal boosters or servo equalizers?

Thanks for the advice about the solder!

Not trying to knock the Savox servos at all but I desire the programability of Hitecs... and if I can get the 7950s to work right they will be exactly what I need...but its going to be quite some time before I'll know.

Rachael I hope you will continue to contribute here... Your work is much appreciated.

Well, you can lead a horse to water...There is much to read, Young Grasshopper. If by then you remain skeptic, time to do your own research with the servos in question...with the "G2" circuitry.

Have fun

I talked with a guy today about it--he doesn't have any trouble with these servos, and claims to have used them many times.

But when I see an accessory product (let's keep it unnamed) that in normal use has multiple different signal wires going to a receiver all sharing a common ground wire (or two)...I think I'm seeing the work product of an engineer or technician who either doesn't know about crosstalk, or was told not to care because some bean counter thinks the pennies saved are worth it, and I'm not even getting to how this configuration also increases susceptibility. It could be that the designers were diligent, measured the crosstalk/wire trade off, but I don't know...

The signal boosters, I haven't even looked into those products yet.

The videos I've seen don't mention if a power distribution board is being used, or show how the signals are being routed, whether signal boosters are being used, etc., so I am skeptical.

I am willing to learn, but I am not willing to leave what I know off the table.

Anyway, anybody use these servos with, for example, a power safe receiver and no other power distribution or signal boosters, and have trouble?

P.S. I hope this doesn't sound angry...I just remember how people were telling me my spektrum radio systems was going to result in all sorts of issues, when I haven't had a single issue. Sometimes I wonder about some of the wisdom I read on the forums.

Also remember that the firmware was updated in mid 2011 which made a big difference in the Jitter with a slight load and we have sold thousands of servos since then. The Jumping can only be resolved with the boosters though when using the Power Safe RX's. These are still available at no charge for anyone that asks for them and the older servos can be updated to the new firmware if sent in.
