I want one. Pair it up with the newer mvvs 116
decisions decisions. H9 Corsair with a Saito radial or a new 120cc bird.

Just picked mine up! Don't hold your breath for a build thread since I'm moving in 2 weeks, butI did get some shots of the first production model. Everything you would expect from Rocco and Aeroworks. The new covering, even after sitting in a container for months is drum tight, all the joints look great, and we'll glued. The elevators and ailerons are huge! I can't wait to get this bird in the air!

I was a bit disappointed to see that they are charging $65 for some SFG's...seems a bit much considering what they are.

I do like the engineering/design of the mid wing and mid stab sfg's.

Are there plans of releasing an alternate color scheme?

AW quality is apearant in these pictures; even closeups look good. Just finished a EF 60" Yak54 and frankly was a bit disappointed in the fit and finish.

This plane doesn't need side force generators!

Having 3 sets of SFG’s, 1 set of inner for the stabs, 1 set of inner and outer for the wings and the design of the mid wing and stab makes the SFG’s more expensive then normal. I didn’t want to have to increase the price of the plane to cover the higher price of the SFG’s especially for the customers that prefer not to install them.

The plane comes ready to receive the SFG’s with the covering not removed so anyone not wanting to use them doesn’t have to.

I do have plans on offering different schemes for future productions and will keep our facebook page and website updated with the latest information.

Thank you,
Rocco

Frankly, I don't see the need for SFG's on a well designed plane. What do they do that you cannot accomplish with flying skill? Plus I don't want the mass out on the wingtips. It makes precise roll control more challenging.

I get the price in design, but still seems a bit past the mark I would consider reasonable for a very small amount of balsa/ply and a tiny bit of covering. Either way they are way cool!!

Im glad to hear about the schemes....Apple/Race green is popular...or anything black and yellow.

5150...for IMAC I would agree, for 3D they can and do make a difference in some maneuvers.

They help stabilize the wing tips maneuvering laterally.

Even for 3D the wingtip mass throws off my roll maneuvers. Maybe I problem is that I take them on and off. IDK

If the planes fuselage is an appropriate size, like the EF Yak, or this plane, they don't need them. To me they are a bandaid for poor design. IMHO and all that...
