I didnt get any more covering done yesterday. just sanded a sealed the wing. (maybe a couple coats of hairspray on top of that?
I did however run out of screws on that heli kit!
(hope they are all in there)
who makes a 1.5mm allen wrench that does not strip out after every 3rd use? I finally took to cutting the end back with a pair of side cutters so it would be sharp and grab.
Now the fun part starts. I have never set up a heli on a radio before. My radio manual has 220 pages on how to do it....(not sure,is this a good thing or not?)
anyways here is the first heli i ever built. (well assembled)

Anyways.... Good Mornin' once again....

Now, that's the way to do it!

Another little Ohio Weather Factoid:
About 11yrs ago I started to get into the hang of it. Then I built my Solution and 2 40% Cardens in a 18 month period and got burnt out. Built ARF's for the next 10 yrs till last year and now when it comes to covering I am bcak to where I was at when I start the hobby

The guy that is going to cover the Pitts loves covering and took 1st place for covering in 2000 at Toledo when he took his Lazer I hope after he finishes the Pitts he has nothing to do this winter nad wants something to cover Have not decided if I am going to recover the Extra or just patch the bad areas. The side of me that dislikes to cover is saying to patch The other side says if you are doing this much work recover it all

Your Airtronics radio makes programming heli's a breeze! the trick is to get your swash plate level and then set your limits and your pitch curves. If you have any questions or problems let me know and ill try to help

Not too shabby, I guess.... gonna take a lunch break, and come back and compare this
drawing to the main wings....

The bending of the ruler is sweet once again! And the storm window that I have on my table
has the rubber seals on the edges that holds the glass in, and the rubber holds the
ruler in place, while wedged from edge to edge! Check it out... pretty neat!
I only had to change the arc's 3 times to get where I am now ...
