Bob,

Where do you source the material for your builds? Are you also using basswood stringers for fuse trusses?

Thanks

I have my 120" QQ Yak at 40 1/2 lbs on a 170 on Greeves and it has great power. I would try to stay closer to the 40 pound mark though, much more and its going to start hurting for performance.

Cant wait to see this!

I purchase all my plywood from Aircraft Spruce & Specialty and my balsa from Specialized Balsa LLC.

Well at least Mike has something to talk about now.
A 170 on pipes will have no problem at all. I've seen a bunch of 43% Cardens build average weight that 170's fly very well.

After seeing the vid of the 40% that came in at 22 lbs I think a 33% 260 at 15-16lbs is the kit I want.

Hey Bob, I see you are having fun with this project. You are a big Maestro, I learn a lot with your buildings, thanks. Maybe after this one, the Aerotechs can produce you the 80% kit!! I'm waiting for that one very much!
Thanks for sharing all your experience with us,

Alf.
