got a bunch of flights ont the 170 proflow combo. mejz 30x13 rpm close to 5900 on the ground.

Very same prop and I had 5880 for RPM's
I am going to try a 31x12.

I liked the 31X12 Evo L much better than the 30X13 Evo.
Better breaking and seemed better hovering and in TQ rolls.

Anyone tried the Mej 30-12 ? If so what RPM's should I see ?

I have this prop on my DA 170 with Proflow rear dumps

Great 3d prop great power much more then the 32x10 but the 32x10 breaks sooo much better. With the 30x13 I have to start my approach 1/4 mile away and crab it in every time.

I finally got to fly the new J-Tec last Sunday with the new Pro-Flows. DA-170 Mej 3 bld 29x12N .It tacked at 5600rpm. on the ground. After I flew the first flight was a little rich in the midrange and seemed a little lean on the top. It was 92 degrees but still flew well First needle setting 1/2 out on the L. and a little more than 1 1/2 out on the H end.

I love the sound and great transition for Imac and for the first time I had no fear of the engine quiting on the couple spins I did. I'am very happy with these Pro-flow canisters.

I'm going to turn in the Low end about 1/16th and open the High end to about 1 7/8 and see what that does. Also switching to the 2 bld.Mej 30x13 EVO.

Yeah I would suggest 11" in length for the DLE 170. I cut my down to 10.5" and after trying it I spread the header and can further apart in the coupler, and haven't touch it since.

Dave,

I forgot to call you back and give you the low down on the 150-pro flow results. The cans worked great at the stock header length. I did not tach the motor but it pulls just like it did with the old cans but the idle and transition are definitely better. I love how smooth the engine idles with these cans. Both my 170 and now the 150 love these things.

Thank you for taking the time on the phone to discuss installation. I hate the 170 needed repair but the old trusty 150 stepped right in and did the job well with your exhaust.
