Trouble Finding a Scoring Program for IMAC???

Trouble finding scoring programs for IMAC?

How many guys or gals out there have wanted to have an IMAC contest at their field, but had no clue how to get it going? There’s a ton of work to put on a contest, no matter what discipline in which you chose to compete. Who is going to handle the CD’s responsibility? Who is going to make sure the field is set up properly? Who is going to handle prizes and raffle items? All of these are viable questions that need to be answered, but most importantly, who knows how to do the scoring at one of these events???

Thanks to Andy Portman, Andy540T, we now have a couple of options for scoring programs. Andy has been flying IMAC for a while now and I’m sure if he recommends either of these programs, they will be just what you need. We now have 2 to chose from, one is on the IMAC website and was written by Mike Stoner, the other is written by Dave Smith and is on his website. Both are listed below, HUGE THANKS TO ANDY!!!!!

I have CD'd 7 IMAC Contests and Use Dave Smiths Program. It is awsome. It generates your AMA Form 11. Allows for proper(K factored) Freestyle Scoring. Can print raw scores at a pilots request so he/she can check them against their scoresheets. It generates performance graphs. Frequency conflict reports, and nice result screens. If your region has a regional points challenge you can make it calculate regional points. Reports are in HTML so they are super easy to post online. It will even write your contest report for you with its story writer function. I give it an A+++
In our Region SC we are using it exclusivly.

The real thanks goes to Anna Wood. Anna used the Dave Smith program for the Cactus Classic and to be honest, it was BadA$$!!!. Both programs were posted on the IMAC web site, but the Dave Smith program is no longer linked there. We have used the Mike Stoner written Excel program and it does work good, but does not have all the bells and whistles of the Dave Smith program.

Which ever one you decide to use, we owe thanks to the people that spent the time to write these, so here it is....

Thank you to both Dave Smith and Mike Stoner
