I'll be more than happy to share the CAD model free.

Same as a DA-50 or 60 if you can't find a 70.

Edit: here you go.

For anyone looking for a EF 91 landing gear replacement the hobbyking one in the link below is the exact one you require at $23 dollars, and I mean exact as from the same mold/factory. I have one at hand and verified it is the exact same quality (not perfect finninsh/sand marks etc) and fitment as the landing gear I personally was supplied by EF which I got with the ARF.

http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...idth_1pc_.html

This is not a post to hurt EF sales or promote Hobbyking just a helpfull post for those fellow modelers in Europe and the rest of the world who are struggling to find a cost effective landing gear the correct size, specially if you do not live in the USA where these things are generally cheaper and more at hand.

Took me ages to find a cheaper price for this exact gear as it is a very hard gear to find, it is unusually very wide at the fuse for a extra 300 at 240mm, but this is the one.

Yes thanks I will have to book mark that. It would be nice if they have an aluminum replacement.

Speaking of that. The aluminum gear is available from TNT. I've got a set for my 91. Also, I thought I saw where Chris said EF had some? Might be worth an email to inquire.

I played around with a Great Plane tail wheel assembly that I have had with connecting it to my 91" Extra. I am not a fan of the cable tie look although they work good. I used some left over pull pull swivels that I rounded off on the cable tie end. That pushes into the silicone tube snug until it is over the barrel. I used a stainless steel fuel tube wire to twist tight.
Looking for thoughts if this will work okay or am I over looking something.

Nice setup, those ball links and stuff would bolt right onto a J&J tailwheel as well.

Nice. I've done a multitude of things. Did something similar to this, used just the springs, and on my Latest project, used a zip- tie method.

I called EF and that was a special run of painted aluminum gear and none were in stock.

Gotcha. Thanks for checking. Looks like TNT may be the best bet. The ones I got from them are nice, and they are good people to deal with.
