stihl oil

Just mixed my first batch with Stihl HP Ultra @ 40:1.... the color looks awfuly light compared to the penzoil I was using. According to my calculations the 2.6oz bottle I bought should have been mixed with .8gal for a 40:1 mixture whitch is exactly what I did. It just looks like a light mixture as i see it in my tank.

Add some food coloring. 40:1 is plenty as it is formulated to run @ 50:1.

Yes! it is a light greenish color. I am using it @ 50:1 with great results.

Good idea, just use a solvent/petroleum based dye. You can have almost any color you want.

I run my HP Ultra @ 32:1 in my planes and it is very dark............use it 50:1 in my Stihl saw and it is still fairly dark. I love the HP Ultra and plan on using it from now on!
