setting up two servos per wing half with a jr 9303

Can anyone help, was wondering if or how to setup two servos per wing half with no powerbox. Just running through the reciever and not having to use any Y harness. The servos im using are the hitec 7955 with a powerbox on a JR 9303 2.4 Was just wondering if anyone has done this, or how too mix this feature to work. Might be just having a moment but i cant figure anything out

Go to device select and select dual aileron and choose a channel to mate to, then if flap has that option then do the same. if it doesn't then mix the flap channel to another open channel with a P-mix. I forget which ones have common trim but at least a couple of the p-mixes in the radio have it.
Personally, I've never done this and I haven't had a problem using just a Y connector, so long as the servos and geometry are pretty well equal. You can determine this by putting an ammeter in-line with the lead. If they bind you will hear it, but a little buzzing is acceptible at max throws, so long as you are under .1 amps, therebouts.

On your 42% are you using a Y harness on your ailerons? What radio and receiver are you using on your 260? If im remembering right, i thought you were running 2 aileron servos. Im getting ready to order the Aeroworks 42% 260 and im trying to figure out how to do a light weight setup with a 9303. I have never had any problems with Y harness, but after some things i have read, im not sure what to think of Y harnesses. I know how to mate my rudder or elevator, Paul5992 called horizion and by the sounds of it a Y Harness or powerbox is going to be the only way on a 9303.

I am actually running an equalizer 3D on each wing half, with servos at the inboard and center positions. My geometry was probably close enough that I didn't need the equalizers but they are so easy to use and I think you can get two of them for under $70.

I know you were using a single elevator servo, were you using the inboad or outboard position?

Geno,
I have ran a Y harness setup for years and never had an issue, and yes you could run a matchbox with 7955's.
How was Vernon?

Geno, inboard location. I would not use anything less than an 8711 or 7950 back there, and reinforce the servo mount. just wick some thin ca into the servo mount plate.

Use a y harness and use the hitec programmer on the servos. DOD used to have a video on how to set up the hitec servos for dual servo aileron.

On my Ultimate all I use are Y's, one servo per aileron and a Y on the rudder servos. They are all 7955 servos. Yes the matchbox will work with hitecs. Hitec seems to make a very good servo, I would invest in the programmer vs. almost the same price for two matchboxes

You can't do it with 4 aileron servos on 4 channels, the p-mixes do not allow trim. If you try to trim the ailerons only 2 of the 4 servos will move.

The best way is to make the servos all match mechanically and use a Y cable. If that doesn't work for you you will either have to use Matchboxes (or equivalent) or use a different radio.
