There seems to be a debate about the aerobatic move called the death slide.
In all the years I've been flying it has always been a desending high alpha knife edge.
Now I have some one telling me it's a desending high alpha knife edge going into a rolling harrier.

From what I saw a death slide is, it's a high alpha high speed descending knife edge. You bring it low enough that a rolling harrier is the only way out to eat up all of your downward energy. Who knows though.

It is just what you described. How you exit the manuever is your choice.

I always thought it was just a descending high alpha knife edge. You can fly out of it lots of different ways.
