Last year @ Top Gun there was a real buzz about the noon-time 3D Demo of one plane flying to music. It was OK, a good show, but the jaws were on the ground. There was true amazement.

Hmmmmm just looked like an average Sunday @ Daytona, or, actually less impressive those days when Kevin, Doug, Lou, Louis, Alan, Donnie and Jonathan would show up with 100cc planes. Those guys were my intro to 3D, yup, I was spoiled as a spectator.

Guess most of those guys had been hunkered down in their building bunkers for the past decade putting the 12,000 rivets on their Lavochkin L-A 7's...............

No flying for me today, # 2 daughter want's to go surfing.............I guess I could use a rest, man I stunk up the field yesterday with my crappy flying..........can you fly too much?

Oh, and, gotta get the WD-40 out to get the stickum off my tail gate after the HobbyKing Nazi's 'HobbyKing' bumper stickered my truck.

Man, I hate those guys!! They're like Ninja's comin' in the dead of night all stealth and chit. Got my 'ThunderPower' stickers ready tho'. Payback's a biotch!!

John did a great noontime last year and that kid is from Texas that performed today. Didn't make it out yesterday. The best one they ever had there (actually 2) was the last time Jason Noll was there and last year with Mac Hodges B-29. He had everyone running when he brought her in, but a great save by him. Impressive for that big bomber!

That sticker ROCKS !....to answer your question "NO !" you can not fly to much....but "YES !" you can burn yourself out if you fly to much of the same style,and never try other things to keep you learning new things......Sounds like it is just time to put the foam jets and warbirds on the back burner,and try something that you have not built,or flown...you know,get those learning juices flowing again.

Most people that say "THAT PLANE WILL FLY LIKE IT IS ON RAILS" really just do not know what that feels like.....Ask me how i know

today was great !!...except for alan"s habu 32 and randidlys extra (rip)..but you know today was great !! i had fun

the swist was amazing !! it looked really smooth

VooDoo - congrats on getting that thing in the air. I was really impressed with Rusty's "Campos Killer" at the Farm and it's nothing compared to your Swist - I can't wait to see it in person.

Al what happened to the habu? The extra looks brand new. Great repair job, he does great work.

We had a habu at IRKS today. He flew it amazingly slow.Had me on edge. It was just ready to fall off the whole flight.

well alan was flying the habu great on landinfg the front nose gear failed and the nose of it dug into the mat and tore it to shreds !! i felt bad sorry al !

Time to start packing this apartment up! Voodoo and Doug we gotta fly one day at the daytona field this week before I leave!
