I stood on my JR8911's and they don't buzz at all. No sound. Or do you mean when powered up?

To be honest though my 8911's and Spektrum 6030s are pretty quite compared to the other H brand digi servos I used to have. Not a big deal for me but was noticeable.

What mAh/flight are you guys seeing with 5 of these 1270's?

Depends on how hard you fly, and your style. I would expect to see 350mAh/flight plus, mixed flying style.

Sounds about right. Im seeing about 460mah per flight on a 7 servo setup 100cc..

Yes they are.

I got 8 of them in a 40%er and liked them so much. I just ordered 13 more for two other planes.

I may be crazy but I am putting them in the new 78"/85" Extreme Flight MXS soon to be out. Huge control surfaces and good for all upgrades. Can't wait.
