Just got my new Extreme Flight Extra 78" ARF. Im hoping this will be a sweet ride!

I am setting it up with all 7955's on surfaces, 5685MH on throttle. Tech-aero Ibec will be used on ignition, 2x lipos for power, JR 921 rx receiver.

Starting out with a well broken in DLE-30 and vess 20A prop. i will report on this combination as my build is completed. However, when I get my hands on a DA-35 I will be doing a comparason. I will be running Planebender's pro-flow canister on both powerplants.

Pictures and video will be on its way as weather straightens out!

Chris, What prop are you running? Is your mtr broke in yet?

I'm running the Vess 18.5X5.5. It fits my flying style really well.. Instant punch and tractor like pulling... Not a fast prop, but handles the plane very nicely... My motor was broken in many many gallons ago... lol

The Syssa has been rock solid for over 1000 flights... I have no reason to change but I am curious as to how the DA performs.

I just installed a Proflow on my 50cc hempel yak. Love the canister so far, it really quiets my plane down and i like the performance as well. Im really looking foward to the DA-35 coming out.

Thanks, I have a buddy who has a brand new one on this plane running an 18x6 Xoar. It's ok but he's going to try some other props and give it a few gallons to break in.

it takes a while to break it in... I ran a gallon of break-in oil, then switched... the engine gained power for over a year after... At first the engine could not even hover the plane, but the power has nearly doubled..

I had a piped Syssa on my 78 inch EF Extra, but I just got a new Mintor 38 today that is going on it.

Cool, thanks, I'll let him know. He has one with the Syssa on the oem muffler and one with a DLE 30 w/ ES composite tuned pipe. Should have them both in the air next wk or so to compare.

I ran a 18x6 on my syssa,78 xtreme flight xtra. First flight. I thought it made a lot of noise but wud not go anywhere. It was turning 8 grand.

Do you think the DLE-30 will require relocation of the firewall?

i have watched some of your youtube vids. i was impressed with your combo. you seem to be able to handle flying it well too!

my EF 88"edge has the DA-60 and proflow, its an animal on the proflow.
