Aeroworks New Release: 30cc Freestyle Extra 260!

Aeroworks is excited to announce the second addition to our new QB-L (Quick Build Light) series with the all new 30cc Freestyle Extra 260! The Freestyle Extra 260 is a larger version of our popular 52” electric airplane featuring the same high quality assembly and light weight building techniques that you’ve come to expect from Aeroworks. Here is a list of just some of the exciting features on the new 30cc Freestyle Extra 260 QB-L:

Full Carbon accessories including landing gear, wing tube, and stab tubes
Double truss Non-Flex © Carbon Control Horns
Pre-hinged control surfaces
Quick Release canopy hatch with no mounting screws!
Removable inner and outer Side Force Generators
Removable stabs for easy transportation
Dual elevator servos to prevent elevator flex
Pre-Mounted Cowling
Turnbuckle pushrods for easy adjustments

The goal of the QB-L series is to produce a light weight, highly pre-fabricated, strong airframe for even the most demanding pilot. The 30cc Freestyle Extra 260 delivers and even exceeded our expectations in all of these areas. With a 79” wingspan and a ready to fly weight of 10.75 pounds the 30cc Freestyle Extra 260 is one of the lightest airplanes in its class. Combine this low weight with the stable flight characteristics of the Extra 260 design and you are sure to enjoy this airplane every trip to the flying field.

Be sure to stop by and see our booth at the Toledo Show to see this incredible new airplane in person. Pre-orders can be taken at the show and all pre-orders will receive free shipping when the airplanes arrive this summer.

The 30cc Freestyle Extra 260 is a very different airplane than our other Extra 260's. It has a much larger wing, different airfoils, larger elevators, rudder, and ailerons as well as a redesigned fuse which is longer and less square. We elected to use the Extra 260 as the first QB-L airplane due to its stable flight characteristics. There are no 52" electric or 30cc Gas 260's currently available that I am aware of.

Mark and Aeroworks crew, I would like to thank y'all for the recent donations for our Eagle Indoor Fly-In. Everyone def wanted the Extra 260 52" electric plane you sent. Al AKA Coupe on flying giants won it in our raffle this past weekend.

Thanks again Aero-Works!

Mark,

if your looking for someone to independently review it I would volunteer my time and components, you supply the airframe.
