Thank you everyone for all the options! I love learning about all these methods to remove a stripped bolt. What actually ended up working after many many failed attempts with various tools, the heated bolt and spinning the exhaust worked. I was then able to get it to spin off with a larger size driver hammered into the bolt head. Thanks again for all the help and wealth of information everyone! It is much appreciated!

I had something similar happen to one of mine... A muffler bolt broke. I removed the one good bolt to take off the muffler and I drilled the stuck bolt out. I made a new thread and found a correct bolt for the thread and I was back in business.

If you drill it out, make sure that the drill is perfectly straight, or as straight as you can get it.
