DA Ignition Current
Has anyone ever tested (or heard) what the current draw is on a DA twin cylinder ignition module??
Or, more to the point....has anyone tried running a single digital servo (throttle) and ignition module off a JR two port regulator (VR5203)? They are rated at 2 amps continous and 3 amps peak (seems marginal to me) but I thought I would see what you guys know. Thanks, Kevin |

A digital servo can draw more that what that regulator is rated at. Granted yours is on the throttle but? I've never measured the amp draw on a DA module but I doubt its over 1 amp. I've not had very good luck running regulators on the igntion at all. Just to much to go wrong or effect the module operation in a negitive way. 2 cents. Jason |

Re: DA Ignition Current
A twin ignition running at 6000 rpm can draw as much as 800 mah.
