Wouldn't hand rubbing put oil from your hand into the wood? making it hard for monokote to adhere to? just a thought

Re: Ultra Light 55% Extra 260

It was a nice day to fly. Bob managed to get out. I think the garage is getting to him. I have never seen a 33% Yak get the crap flown out of it like he did today. Incase you don't think he was agressive here is a pic of the pitts muffler off the DA-85 I got from him off the 35% 260 he built. All I can say is it was hauling ass in the knife edge pass when it flew by. BTW that muffler has only 6 flights on it. Bob them were some cool moves today I never seen you do them before. Thanks

Bob,

From a builder's perspective your airframe is an incredibly engineered design with a projected weight that is nothing short of awesome.

From a pilot's perspective I WANT ONE!!!!

From TBM I believe , not sure who makes them. Much lighter materials used than jtec or slimline though.

Pics of plane look great, can't wait to build one myself. You said you'd help right?LOL
Thanks for tickling the sticks today on my "little" 260 today. My favorite was the torque roll down the flightline. Looked like the setup is very close now.

Bob, looks great!

Its amazing how it still looks short coupled (by today's model standards with kits like the Dalton out) even though its as long as a 60%!!

Can't wait to see her fly!
