Re: CARF SU-31

My CG is 5mm behind the center of the wing tube. Frazer Briggs and myself have been playing with it and are looking to try it back further yet as we are getting the snaps dialed in with it

Re: CARF SU-31

Never did throw a picture of our plane up here. Using a 30x13 evo light prop with a DA170. BTW, what are the weights of some these planes coming in at? ours measured 45 lbs. but the with the CF wing tube and lighter wheels it will be coming in at 44 lbs.

Great looking planes.... I really like this one... Inparticular, the flame scheme looks SO much better in person than the website shows.....

Jana,

Could you post your canopy attachment? Is it glued and then the screws installed or are the screws fully functional with no glue used?

Thanks, Bruce Opsta

Some pic of me new Su-31. The DA-200 pulls this thing along great. Unlimited vertical, very quiet. The balance is almost perfect with the lighten 200 and the batteries in the nose. The plane is off to Joe Nall next week. Cant wait

The fuse with about 32 oz of fuel in it is 39.5 lbs. The wings are 5 lbs each. And the tube is a wisker over 1 lb. Not sure what 32 oz of fuel weights but it must be a lb. That would put it just shy of 50 lbs. I'm very impressed so far with the 200 only 3 flights so far. Runs, sounds and pulls great with a 32X10 prop.
