I really think we should get a fun fly contest going! Like fastest touch n gos. Climb and Glide, Bomb Drop, 1 Minute Game, etc!!! I use to love doing these back at my club at home. Usually we would compete with any 46 size ultra stick or big stick plane. who is up for this!

Dude these contests are tons of fun! I did them with a U-Can-Do 3D .46. I would love to do one again. Just need a .40 size plane lol.

I know Hodges Hobbies host these contest and man its hard to keep up with those south georgia guys!!!

That is how i got into this hobby...Fun-Fly events in Ohio are off the hook.....my first couple good planes were the Menace and the Minus...The Menace (larger of the two) was powered by a MVVS 49 w/ moose can pipe...and the Minus had a Webra 32 w/ moose can...Plus i always had a Model-Tech Magic on stand by,also powered by MVVS...I rock at the touch and go loops 10 times in a row ....I miss that stuff so much.

I am going home for Spring Break in a few weeks and I think I am going to spend some time flying some of these old birds. Some in the picture we have sold or they have crashed, but a lot of them we still have stored in the barn. Yes they are glow, but I tell ya once you get them cleaned up they will run!

The Aeromax plane picture was a plane given to me by someone I looked up to in the hobby. As soon as he found out he could no longer fly anymore due to his blur vision from his brain tumor he gave me this 60cc size plane. It is equip with a 3w60. Not many of these kits were made. It is very similar to a Giant Stinger. He later passed back when I was in 9th grade. He taught me a lot about the hobby and he went to every Joe Nall since the beginning! He gave me also all the metal plates you get for Registering at Joe Nall.

I plan to get this plane in flyable condition again and put a flight on it for a special show one day, then I will probably hang it up for good!

We should get a contest going then! That would be a lot of fun on a weekend!
