It's up to you... the jitter is seen with a slight load (typically the weight of the control surface) and the update significantly reduces this.

Mike.

Correct... N/C.

Hi Mike,
What's the nature of the firmware fix? What issue(s) does it attempt to fix and how? I have one of these servos (or 3, I can't remember) and am wondering if I should send them back. I don't have time to read this whole thread starting backwards from the end to see what's happened over the past few months. Thanks!

Funny, I never remember reading the fine print that said, "Your servos will have a slight jitter around null at the weight of a flight surface. This is considered a normal function of the servo and is not defective..." [end of disclaimer]

It just keeps getting better and better

Do all new production servos have the new up-dates in the 79XX series?

Good luck getting an acknowledgement on this one. Seems as he is selectively answering questions. So we will selectively choose other servos to buy.

MM/Hitec has made it a point SEVERAL times to avoid myself, Tavis, Mrs.R, and others. When the answers finally do come, they are usually short with no proof or misleading. These actions are not suprising anymore and are what we have come to "Expect More" of from Hitec.

significantly reduces ???
Like the first firmware servo that was sent to Flyguy2 ? At 1:54 its jittering on the aileron just as bad as it ever did.
And yet MM you still deny that firmware servo would jitter for you when he sent it back? Is Tavis a liar?

after first firmware update by Hitec (2 min 10 sec)
