is there a way to "un-regulate" voltage for a specific channel with an EQ6? would like to move to one of the new hitec 7.4v servos for rudder (single) but at 7.4, not regulated to 6v....but rest my servos still need regulated 6v.....

The only way to do that would be to tap power directly off the battery and into the servo and only plug the signal wire into the EQ6. I assume you are talking about the 7955, and running only one on the rudder? Even at 7.4 volts it is going to be marginal. You'd be better off with an 8711, 9157, or 94780. Those servos actually develop the torque they claim.

no am talkin about the new high voltage servos like from JR (8711HV) and one being released from Hitect in Sept (HS-7950TH).....i have 7955s all around now except single JR 8711 on tail, but not happy with it, so thinkin bout using one of the new HV ones on there which gets 486oz/in at 7.4v but only 403 oz/@6.0v

is there an unregulated port on the EQ6 to tap power from? like the charge port with JR leads?

I am pretty sure there is not an unregulated bypass channel on any of the power systems he sells. But it would be a good idea - maybe we'll see something like that in the future???
