Did you convert this engine to glow or you mix up both fuel?

Re: GAS?GLOW engine start-up with ice on engine

It is a converted MB290 leaf blower engine done by RCIGN and the ignition quit. So to run the engine at all I removed the spark plug & used a adapter to screw-in a 4 cycle OS max glow plug. For fuel I used 1 part of glow fuel to 2 parts of pump gas! This engine vibrated from the start on gas...the problem is too long of a prop adapter & a loose font bearing. Can be fixed by making the adapter shorter & putting a good quality USA front bearing in it. Capt,n

Hey, you got me wondering about that jacket. I looked it over real close and the only loose threads are right by the cuff buttons...on both sleaves. From wear. I did feel something that day but no marks or tears anywhere. I did warn evryone do not do what I did. I really did not rev the engine much at all because it will rev several thousand more RPM than what was on video. The heavy firemans glove is the only way to go...at low revs you super protected from ouchies I am more carefull after see-ing some real hurt arms & hands that was posted in another fourm!!!!! Best Regards Capt,n
