The Donnie Leseberg Memorial IMAC Starts Today.
Hey guys, today starts the Donnie Leseberg Memorial IMAC out in Tucson Arizona.
I know Tony Russo and many of the club members have worked really hard to get this event going so please if you can, support the event! The Donnie Leseberg Memorial IMAC 3 Days of Fun for a Good Cause. Contest Standards apply. The Donnie Leseberg Memorial IMAC will be a 3 day event held on April 20 through the 22rd, 2012 at TIMPA located in Marana, Arizona just outside of Tucson. Field info can be found at www.timpa.org All Proceeds will be donated to the Donnie Leseberg Fund more info about the fund at www.donnielesbergfund.com Pre registered IMAC members $50.00 Non IMAC member or day of event registration $65.00 Field will be open on Thursday for practice with registration starting at 3pm Thursday and 6:30 am Friday. AMA membership required to fly and must be presented at check in. Unknowns flown on Saturday and Sunday Motor homes welcome (sorry no hookups) Awards for 1st thru 3rd place in all classes If you are in the area and can just stop by and make a donation, please go! very nice.
His parents are a class act..they way they sent a personal letter to everyone who pitched in last year! My wife was touched by that. |

The first day of the event was very nice. The weather was beautiful (not the typical TIMPA winds but an occasional dusk devil floated through), the line flowed smoothly and 5 known sequences were flown. Tony kept things moving and it was great seeing the Leseberg family at the event. Here are some random pictures taken over the day.

Great contest, my dad and I had fun only i was flying thought. Thanks to Dave Hargrove for letting me fly his plane this week. Everyone fly very well this week.

This was a very well run event. Good Job Jacob on your win and you are welocome. Prizes were great and it was really cool that the prize choice started with the Basic class. Thanks Mark L for the clinic and the help with my MEL300. Thanks to Tony for the hard work for this contest.
