REALLY BIG CUB

Hello everyone . I am a new member to your group and have MANY QUESTIONS . I am just starting a build of a PA 18 Super Cub which I am constructing from a set of plans that I had enlarged 400 percent to a 20 foot wingspan. I have a DLE 222 four cylinder 2 stroke to power the aircraft. This plane is going to be huge . I hope some of you can advise me on what size servos to use and construction technics . This plane will have to be built on the floor as it will not fit any building bench that I have so far. Any advise will be greatly appreciated. Bye for now. Just call me WINGNUT

Why build one just call up Bill Hempel he can send you 40,50 or 60% ARF better and cheaper than you can build.

nice way to make someone feel welcome ehh?
Good luck with your build, sounds exciting to say the least, trust me, there are many here who will be able to offer lots of help, have fun with it! For me, building is just as much fun if not more fun than actually flying.

Might be something to look into, but plans usually don't work very well when you just enlarge them. There might need to be some design changes when going up that much.

i hope he builds it. there are only a few on here that have the knowledge to build and engineer a plane of that size with confidence and they wont always be able to answer his concerns. building the unknown step by step with forum guidance without an idea yourself is the future of the hobby, well in fact it IS the hobby so i was correct . i want to build a star ship so i can travel to the orion nebula but so many questions and no one coming forward to help me with my project what oil should i use

What plans did you blow up? Can you post pictures? That would help. Sounds like a fun project.
