Holly BaJeebus! Such a beautiful plane. I gave up the planes to try heli's for a bit, and people said those were expensive!! Hope it last you years of enjoyment!

My Turnigy Nano-Techs have outperformed my Thunder Powers 10 times over. I thought there were only 3 factories in the world that make Lipos? Is it that HK batts are made with inferior practices and materials, or is it that they just don't mark up the price super high?

hi
Well, we are just trying to reduce the risk of failure, and the bigger the plane- the harder the pain if it crush. Do you really trust an unknown Chinese battery more than a proven well made one ? And in what way your nano-techs, outperformed T.P ? Im not saying that its worth to pay for a label. But its worth paying for reducing a crush risk.

Well I can tell you how my nano techs out preformed my t.p. batteries. I have 3 sets of 10s pro powers 30c with avg cycles on them. In my integral they are consistently producing 300-400 watts less than my nano techs which are 35-70c packs. The internal resistance in the nanotech cells is also incredible. I have never had a problem with my thunder powers and they are great batteries in fact i am running g6 packs on my powerbox srs, but saying that I would have no qualms using nanotechs for my Rx. Great batteries great price. Order from the USA warehouse and it's fast shipping. Not sponsored or endorsed just stating what I have used and observed.

Hello Craik

The gas tank seems to be a soda bottle, is this correct?

Hi guys. thanx

I saw that other build a while ago! he's got some neat ideas and its another uber cool scheme
Yes they are 1.5l coke bottles, they will fit on the new tank trays quite nicely!

Is there a option for a single tank holder?

Have always been aprehensive about using plastic beverage bottles for fuel tanks, but I know many people do.
Can anyone confirm the durability and how these stand up to gasoline over the long term.

Thanks - Jaketab

Been using Fiji water bottles for 3 years now. Not a single issue. Very durable as well...don't ask how I know this

Today, I got some answers from Ivo. Great service from Krill Aircraft.

His recommendation is to have 3 strong servos for the rudder and 4 servos for the aileron/wing, if you fly aggressive 3D.
For IMAC style, 3 strong servos for the aileron/wing may be enough. I will use Futaba 157HV ultra-torque all around: 4x on each wing, 3x for rudder, and 4x for elevators.

The CG location for the first flights is in the middle of the wing tube.
