My biggest problem with the sbus system is its a single point failure. Been in the heli world for 3 years now sponsored by a few companies in the heli world havong seen my team manager and is the team manager for compass models crash is 7hv and 6hv twice becuse of the single point failure. If that connector comes out of the sbus rx. your ******. No chance of saving the heli.

You're certainly correct about the possible single point failure but then again there are many possibilities for single point failures in helis and planks too for that matter. Frankly though, with good machine maintenance I find the most common single point failure is my ageing brain!

HTS-Voice in a tray

I had to modify my tray al ittle so that it fits the HTS voice. But now it looks perfect.
The HPP-22 software (ver 1.11(1)) is not ready for the HTS-Voice. There are some deficiencies with the HTS-voice software(e.g. unlike in the manual there is no voice output of speed and watts) and and the HTS-Voice firmware very soon will need a new update.

Nice pictures.

Hitec HTS-Voice
confirms an upgrade is imminent and most likely why the unit has not yet been released in most markets.

GPS Sensor failure

I just wondered why it took such a long time to receive the GPS signal and the other telemetry information from this sensor.
Then I recongnized that the small battery which is soldered on the board of the sensor had not been soldered properly and had just fallen out of the sensor in the fuselage of my model.
So, what to do now? Do I have to send the sensor back to Hitec for warranty repair or can I open the heat shrink tube of the GPS sensor myself and solder the battery back on the board of the GPS sensor without violating Hitec's warranty?

Many thanks for Hitec's reply!
