And note the exhaust port shape, you will have many options for exhaust systems.
Also note the full circle cylinder, unlike the so-called finger ported types that does not support the piston very well on other brands.

And a little mouse told me that this might become available, which would mean the end of leaky exhausts, silicone RTV and loose screws.

Glad to see a 60 single side exhaust come back to RCGF. I have two, one with a 6 bolt prop hub early model and the other with four . Both out run every other so called top brand 60 I have tried, and do it with a clean midrange and smoother running than the rest. The best part, I never had a reason to pull them apart, other than Bjorn rings installed when new, very dependable.

Just as an FYI, the "RCGF" name is going away next year, at least as far as Stinger engines are concerned.

I like that...let the "Stinger" name stand on its own feet.

Yeah ,I heard that somewhere on FG.It was said to distance them from the RCGF name. Personally I never had a bad experience with the early RCGF's. I would try the new 63 if I had a place for it.

I have tried 2 of them (kinda), on the long term test 125 (same cylinders, pistons, rings, rod and bearings). Tomorrow I am going to pull the single temp sensor off of it and install the Booma RC IBEC with 4 temp sensors, 2@ each spark plug and 2@ the last fin near the exhaust port. The cool thing about the Booma device is it just plugs into the XBUS port on the Powersafe as a temp sensor hub since I already am using a Tech Aero IBEC. We will be able to see if the baffles, fuel distribution etc are similar on both sides, (assuming that similar temps are an indicator of that).
Also, since I will have the cowl off to do all this, and I have the O ring exhaust plates which make it easy to pull the headers, I will look inside the exhaust ports and see how the ceramic coated pistons are looking as well.

Wish they would come out with the stinger 70 pro with ceramic heads.
I like the stinger 70 now but needs better compression like Gp have.
I was told they are coming out with a 70 pro but it is on the back burner for now.
When the 70 pro heads come out. I hope they keep the angled plugs and keep the size of the motor the same.
