Ok

Arm twisting time.

We the crazy Canuks have flown every prop under the sun on these GP engines.

For the 61 I would like to see a .......

24x8 wide

and a

25x8 regular ( not wide )

Cheers

Is there a thread specifically on the 176evo? Curious what tuned pipe/prop combo has been decided on to what works best?

Also, the engine has been out for a good while - any horror stories on replacement parts or service? Or even maintenance required?

I have four 176evo's All on cans except one with Plane Bender Pro Flow Smooth tuned pipes. The headers are 13" length with a 3W 3D prop. It turns 7600rpm on the ground and moves a 44lb plane around like a foamy. One engine has around 300 flights with no problems all the others have around 50-200 flights. I had one engine that had a slight bearing leak that was repaired under warranty with-in two weeks.

I would not trade my GP's for any other engine in its size class.
