Has an instruction manual be posted anywhere yet, I would like to see how it all goes together.
Also, does it state anywhere what size servos (Torque) will be needed, I want to start to get all the pieces of the puzzle together.

i own a lot of pilot planes, the manuals do suck a$$ i'm sorry to say, maybe this time will be different though!

as for servos i would just go with typical 30cc kit, no need to go mental on this one.

so for me i would be putting 10kg on elev, 15kg on rudder and anything upto 10 on ails/flaps would suffice i would suggest.

cheers

Oh look Quique Somenzine came out with a copy of the same high wing 3D craze, 84 inch Carbon Z Super Cub, foamie with floats and 3D able. $399 you could call it a cheap rip-off of the Big Foot …BUT I am NOT..They are all cool and I would like to rip around with any of them. Get ready for more…
I do like the Big Foot so far.
The last thing any sane person could accuse Quique of doing is ripping anyone off. There are pictures of him at the 3W Super Show back in the early 2000s (long before 3DHS, Multiplex Fun Cub, etc. came to be) hovering a Super Cub and touching the tail on the ground. The Carbon-Z Cub is very innovative and just because it's a high wing airplane that can hover doesn't mean it's a copy of anything.

I am not knocking the Sky Wolf but for a 35cc engine I would prefer the Pilot 3D Trainer.

Tony,

is the Skywolf available with the tow hitch for glider tow?

Looks like it would be a great all round plane on a DLE 55 or even a hack for running in engines in the 30cc to 60cc class.

having a tow hitch would round it off nicely as a do everything favourite for the airfield.

sweetie drops at airshows, 3D trainer, glider tow plane, flap trainer.

smaak it stukkend

Is this a fly wide open and yank the heck out of kind of plane? Or fly slow and scale and touch and go all day? Im looking for an all around plane to have fun with...Something that can satisfy all my needs....LOL

I guess this plane will fly everything between slow fly-bys to some 3D manouvers. I'm thinking about floats on mine (I live next to the river). Neigbours are going to love DLE sound at calm summer evenings :-))) I may need Hacker A60 5s on 6s5000mAh pack with nice 17' 3 blade propeller... :-)))

The tail plane appears to be a slab unit so I assume it is bonded to the airframe and not a bolt on unit. I view this as more of a step up aircraft from the 20-30cc Trainer. However I see it as a great engine test hack, suitable for everything from a DLE20 to a DLE60 (glider tow work )

All the copy comments are funny to me. No other plane on the market I have seen has the same plan form. Wing, fuse, or tail. I will admit, it's not the prettiest thing to look at, but it's growing on me.

As far as who's copying who- ALL of them are copying the original CUB! You heard me- the Cub and Super Cub's laid the foundation for all of this. Carbon Cub's, Huskies, Maules, and a myriad of other designs came about to compete with the good 'ole Super Cub. So, for everyone jumping on the high wing bandwagon, better late then never!
